How do I pay for my cards?

The first time you purchase a card, you will be directed to Google Checkout, where you will create a Google account if you don't have one already. Cards are relatively small purchases, and the great thing about Google Checkout is that once you've added your credit card details you won't have to reenter those numbers again, saving you time. You can cancel your account at any time and Jack Cards membership is free.

Will Jack Cards ever charge my credit card automatically?

No. We don’t even know your credit-card number, as Google’s taking care of that for us.

Can I buy just one card to start?

Absolutely. We know that you might want to “test” us. In order to purchase a card, you need to enter in enough data so that we can send you the card, so there is a quick sign-up process. To buy your card you'll be directed to Google's Checkout and after purchasing it you can always return to the Jack Cards website by clicking on the link as directed by Google. So yes, you can buy just one card, but we’re also here to make it easy for those who want to use Jack Cards for all their greeting card needs and we hope after testing Jack Cards you'll be back to buy more.

If I cancel, what happens.

If you cancel your Jack Cards account any information you may have entered will be deleted. Of course membership to Jack Cards is free so you can keep your information there indefinitely just in case you have a future greeting card emergency.

Under what circumstances can I have a refund?

Scheduling a card is the same thing as purchasing a card, and because we base our inventory decisions on scheduled cards, we cannot refund orders that have been scheduled. If your card doesn’t arrive (occasionally cards get lost in the mail), we’ll send you a new card ASAP or refund your account. However, if we determine that you are abusing this privilege, we will cancel your membership.

What if I have a problem with a payment, refund, or cancellation?

We understand that you might be anxious to give us a call if you come across any problems. Staffing phones poses two problems: 1) when you call and you are put on hold, it can be frustrating, and 2) we'd have to raise the price of our service to cover the expense. Thus, we’ve set up the following system: 1) go to Contact Us at the upper right-hand corner of this page, 2) submit an email explaining your issue, and 3) don’t forget to include your name and email. We guarantee we'll get back to you within 24 hours but will endeavor to get back to you much sooner! Don’t worry—we know if we don’t respond in time, we’ll lose you and potentially your friends as customers!

Why do I pay a sales tax?

We’re located in Massachusetts. We’re required by law to collect sales tax from customers located in Massachusetts. We’re sorry, but we like living here and we like obeying the law. This law is in flux, and shortly, we’ll learn if we have to collect sales tax for all states or no states. . . we’ll keep you posted.

What are the shipping charges per card?

Our shipping rate is $0.49 per card but if you spend $30 or more standard shipping is FREE to customers in the US!
